HAVE YOUR SAY
We want to make sure the Base offers activities that meet the needs and aspirations of local people. We are keen to hear from you so please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have an idea for a group, activity or project. We are in the process of developing a Steering Group for the Base to ensure local people are represented and are able to influence how we work and develop.

COMMUNITY CAFE
Our Internet Cafe is open from 9.00am - 14.30pm (Monday - Thursday) and 9.00am - 13.30pm on a Friday. The Cafe serves a range of refreshments, hot meals and light snacks.
We are working with our committed team of volunteers to develop the cafe menu. Our computers and printer is free to use after you complete a quick registration process. If you don't feel confident using the internet, please just ask as our friendly staff team are always happy to help.

Urban Roots will be hosting a Community Meal on the last Thursday of every month at 17.30.

We're often looking for volunteers to help at the Base on a range of long or short term projects. You can commit to taking part in a one off event or volunteer every day. You can get involved with many different activities such as carrying out small maintenance tasks, becoming part of our Steering Group or running a group to share your skills and interests. If we don't have any suitable opportunities, we can put you in touch with Volunteer Glasgow who will be able to help. If you are not sure what you would like to do or would like to find out more, please get in touch for an informal discussion.
